Mentorship Program
We are not meant to study God’s Word alone. That’s why Crossroads for Prisoners Canada connects people in prison with mentors who study the Bible with them and encourage them through heartfelt letters. The mentors are the heart of the ministry, offering a personal touch not found in other correspondence Bible study programs.
Through the mentorship program, students can study more than one hundred lessons that are centered on the Bible and relevant to people in prison. Mentors review their lessons, answer their questions, encourage their spiritual growth and share their own testimonies. As friendships between mentors and students blossom, so do genuine love and respect and the desire to encourage one another to discover their God-given potential.
Benefits of the Program

-
Access to more than one hundred Bible study lessons
-
A certificate of achievement and a free book (if allowed by the facility) with each course a student finishes

How it Works
1
Crossroads for Prisoners Canada sends a Bible study lesson to a student.
3
Crossroads for Prisoners Canada sends the next lesson to the student and forwards the student’s completed lesson to a volunteer mentor
2
The student completes the lesson and mails it back to the Crossroads for Prisoners Canada office.
4
As the student works on their next lesson, the mentor reviews the completed lesson and mails it back to the student along with an encouraging letter.
